Glassblowing is the art or process that begins by taking a pipe and gathering molten glass from the furnace. It can then be formed or shaped with tools and by blowing air into it.

Nick Delmatto, blown glass artist, owns and operates Delmatto Blown Art Glass Studio in the Hocking Hills near Logan in Southeastern Ohio.

Nick use various techniques applying hot color to clear glass while shaping and blowing without molds or assistance. Everything from his shop is made with his own hands and is one of a kind, signed and dated.

He previously has instructed glass blowing assisting Henry Halem at Kent State University and taught Hot Glass at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio from 2007 to 2011. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States since 1972.
